Students can access their own personal part of My School Books. In their Student Portal, they’ll be able to see their lesson schedule, past attendance, etc. They cannot see your private information or other student’s lessons.

There are two ways to send students their login information:

Send an individual student their login details:

  1. Log into My School Books.
  2. Select the “Students” page from the main menu.
  3. View the details of any student by clicking the blue “Zoom” button beside their name.
  4. Select the “Options” tab (rightmost).
  5. Use the “Send Login” button to send the login information to the student (or parent if applicable).

Note: This feature is only available if you have provided an email address for the student (or parent). The student’s login name is their email address. Without an email address they will not be able to log in.

Send Multiple Students their Login Details in Bulk:

To send multiple students their login information at once, follow these steps:

  1. Log into My School Books.
  2. Select the “Students” page from the main menu.
  3. Use the checkboxes beside the student names to select multiple students.
  4. At the top of the page click the “Email” button.
  5. From the menu that appears, select either “Send Student Login” or “Send Parent Login” to send either student or parent login information respectively.

A popup window will appear that allows you to confirm the recipients before sending the login information. This method can only be used to setup new student login information. If the student was previously assigned a password My School Books will not resend it using this method.
