This week, we changed the behavior if you cancel a lesson by setting the attendance to “Teacher Absent”. With this attendance status selected, an SMS/Email Reminder is now automatically sent using the “Event Cancelled” email/SMS template. This ensures that students and parents who use SMS/email reminders will be notified in advance of the canceled lesson (no additional steps).
What else changed?
- “Latest News” on the Student Portal homepage now includes the new article icon (and color) and the title is now stylized so it’s more prominent.
- Fixed a minor typo in the verb tense of the Email Notification Settings.
For multi-teacher schools:
- Teachers who have access to view other teacher’s calendars (but not edit them) now have the option to set the “Group Mode”. Prior to this change, this option was only visible for teachers who have permission to edit other teacher’s calendars.
Did you know? We made some changes to our network configuration to ensure continued PCI compliance for new rules that came into effect June 30th.
